ʼRecall, Reflect, Retellʼ is a joint project of Gestapokeller und Augustaschacht Memorial Association (Germany) and After Silence public organization (Ukraine). The project aims to increase the visibility of the experiences and prospects of Ukrainian youth, support them, and foster solidarity.

In the summer of 2023, we gathered about 30 young Ukrainians interested in topics of war and memory for public history work camps. The work camp for people residing in Ukraine took place in Verkhovyna, Ukrainian Carpathians. Young participants who lived in other countries of Europe attended a work camp in Osnabrück district in Lower Saxony. This exhibition presents the works created in cooperation after work camps.

The project is implemented with the support of terre des hommes Deutschland, an international children’s rights charitable humanitarian organization.
